Introducing
“The Companion Cat” program for Seniors
The Harry and Eve Vickar Shelter understands that many Seniors would benefit from a friend and that’s why we developed the “The Companion Cat” program. Many seniors, over 70 years of age, would like to adopt an animal, but are worried about the animals care in the event of short term illness or hospitalization. The NESPCA will assist, if needed, in finding caregivers or temporary fosters in the event that a senior is unable to care for the animal. Seniors now can adopt an animal with no concerns about caring for their furry companion. Please inquire about the “The Companion Cat” program” at the NESPCA shelter.
